If you’re reading this, chances are you stumbled upon my work online or you’re a friend IRL who knows I finally decided to take the leap and start this newsletter.
Either way, welcome!
Who am I?
I’ve spent the past 8 years in the trenches of early-stage startup growth and marketing.
I co-founded and exited a startup in the consumer travel space, built two DTC brands from scratch (started each with less than $10K), and watched them scale into million dollar brands.
Most recently I also grew a SaaS product from $2K in ARR to over a million.
It’s been a wild ride.
One full of wins, mistakes, and a boatload of lessons I’m ready to share.
Why should you subscribe?
I'm writing for founders and builders who are in the early stages.
Every week, I'll drop practical strategies, honest insights, which include stories of my own flops. So maybe you can avoid making the same mistakes.
I will focus on tactics that actually move the needle even when you have limited resources.
A quick snapshot of what ideas you can expect from my letters:
How To Get Your First 1000 Paying Customers Without Being a Marketer

I'll be real with you. I spent years wrestling with my own inner critic.
"Who cares what I think?"
"Why would anyone listen to you?"
I would have never written this post and gotten started writing.
But a big turning point happened between December 2024 and January 2025, when I offered to do a 30-day SaaS consulting sprint.
One SaaS founder a day, two hours each. During these sessions, I would work with them on their GTM strategies and designing a growth path to acquire their first 1000 paying users.
I'd follow up a week or two later with these founders and ask how they were progressing after our chat.
Seeing that my suggestions were actually helpful and helped them out was the final push I needed to say, "Hey, maybe this stuff is actually worth sharing."
So instead of letting these ideas die in my Notion databases, I hope that these letters will be a valuable resource for founders and builders who need a fresh angle to get unstuck and find new levers for growth.
Two areas I’m focusing on:
Business Growth
From SaaS to DTC products, I’ll share the strategies and experiments that got me real results in my own projects.
Personal Growth
Our inner world fuels everything else. How we talk to ourselves, the goals we chase, and the beliefs we hold. All of these shape what we build and also pre-determine if we'll be able to do our greatest work. I'll dive into what's worked for me and what hasn't.
My sending schedule
If you're wondering, I plan to send out a new letter every Sunday at 7pm Singapore time. (Holding myself accountable here)
There is no fancy "end goal" for this newsletter.
The way I see this is as an open invitation for serendipity.
I'd love for my writing to create opportunities for conversations with great founders and builders.
If you have questions on how you can build better products, sell them effectively, and ultimately make money from what you're building, you can find me here.
